When will my order of FlipSidez arrive?
Most of the flip flops purchased on our site are custom made to order. This includes designs offered by us as well as designs that customers create. When purchasing custom made to order flip flops you will see the estimated production time clearly stated, within an orange box, on the Shopping Cart page. This estimated shipping time will also be shown on your email receipt.
The estimated production time, combined with the speed of the shipping service you purchased, will allow you to determine when your flip flops should be delivered.
If the current estimated production time was 5 business days at the time of your purchase, you selected a 4 business day shipping method, then you could expect to receive your order in approximately 9 business days.
Please keep in mind that these times are estimates and not guaranteed. Also, shipping time estimates do not include weekend days, only business days.
Shipping time, for orders being shipped to a non-US address, can vary from 1-4 weeks for delivery if you select standard shipping. Again, shipping time is in addition to production time. If you need flip flops quickly delivered to a non-US address, we recommend purchasing International Express shipping. This express shipping option usually has a shipping time of one week, barring any delays when clearing your country’s customs department.
Do I need to pay Duties or VAT on my order when it arrives in my country?
Depending upon your country, being required to pay duties and/or VAT on your order is certainly possible. It is not possible for us to estimate any duties/taxes in advance, or to charge you for this amount. If a Duty or VAT is owed to your country’s customs department, the customs department will notify you when the package arrives at in your country.
No duties or VAT are owed for orders being delivered within the USA.
I selected standard international shipping and am trying to track my package. It does not appear to have left the USA.
If you choose an economy international shipping option, international package tracking may not be available depending on the destination country. What this means is that you will not see any status updates on the location of the package after it leaves the USA. Please rest assured that the package is on its way to you and has actually left the USA. The receiving postal service in some countries, such as the UK, will show status updates once your package has arrived in the country.
I selected standard international shipping. It has been over 4 weeks since my order was shipped and it has still not arrived. Where is it?
If it has been 4 weeks since your package has shipped, and you have not received it, you can try contacting your country’s customs department and providing them with the package’s customs ID number. They may be able to provide you with an update. This customs ID number is included with the shipping confirmation email that we send to you when your order is shipped.
How long will shipping take if my order is shipping to an international address? (Outside of the USA)
For orders being shipped internationally you can choose from several international shipping speeds.
For customers that choose lower cost shipping, these orders will be shipped with the US Post Office’s First Class International Mail, or Priority International Mail. Shipping time can vary from country to country, but we have found that a 1-4 week shipping time is most common. Longer shipping times are possible with these services and we have no control over these delays.
International Priority Mail Express Shipping: These orders will be shipped via the USPS Express Mail service, or DHL. Typical shipping time is 3-6 business days. Which express service is used depends on the size of the order and the country of destination (DHL is best for island countries or countries with less reliable postal services).
How long will delivery take if my order is shipping to a US address?
When placing your order you can choose from several shipping options with UPS and the US Postal Service. Depending upon the service selected, shipping time will typically take between 1-7 days.
Shipping time is in addition to the estimated production time for your order, if any. For flip flops that are being made to order the estimated production time will be shown in your shopping cart as well as on your order receipt.
The speed of your selected shipping service, combined with the estimated production time of your order, will tell you approximately when your order will be delivered. Please note that these times are estimates and not guaranteed.
How long until my order is delivered?
Delivery time depends on two factors: production time and shipping time.
Production time can vary throughout the year and is based on our current order volume. We post our current production times in multiple locations throughout the website so customer can view them prior to purchasing. This is one of them!: Current estimated production time is 5-10 business days for orders of 1-9 pairs.
Shipping Time, is in addition to production time, and can depend on several factors, including shipping destination, order size, and shipping method selected when placing the order.
Do you ship to my country?
Yes, we ship to nearly every country in the world, with the exception of a handful of countries with high rates of credit card fraud. When you get to the shipping address page, your country will be shown on the drop down menu for the Shipping Country field. There are a few countries, such as South Africa, where shipping destinations may be limited to addresses in major cities. We will notify you if this is the case for your order.
How can I find out the current status of my order?
You can learn the current status of your order by logging into your FlipSidez account and clicking on the “Order History” tab. The current status for an order will be shown for each order. You can log into your account using the following link: https://flipsidez.com/shop/?route=account/account
We always send a confirmation email, with the tracking details, once an order is shipped. If you have not yet received one, please refer to your order receipt to see the estimated production time for your order. If the stated amount of production time has not yet passed then your order is probably still in production and you will be receiving your shipping confirmation email soon.
